Apprentice Editor
Muratiwa Chinake
Originally from Zimbabwe, Muratiwa Chinake recently graduated from the University of Glasgow with a First-Class MA (Hons) in English Literature and Film & Television Studies. During her time at university, she became captivated by the world of video essays and how they open up new ways of exploring and visualising discussions around social justice. This passion led her to create an audio-visual essay examining the stereotypes placed on Black women in Tyler Perry’s cinematic universe. She now looks forward to further developing her editing skills and contributing to projects that champion accessibility and positive representation for all.
